Wire Rope Clip, 16 mm, Galvanized, DIN 741

AV00093400
1,79 €

The malleable structure of the wire rope clip is intended to make wire rope eyes or connections between wires where the wires cannot be crimped, or where temporary wire ends or links cannot be used. All wire rope clips are marked with the corresponding size on the outer side of the bridge, thus facilitating their identification.

TIPS: Wire rope clips must be retightened after the wire has been pulled the first time. The body of the wire rope clip must be assembled on the active part. The spacing between wire rope clips must be 6 mm x the wire diameter.

  • Body - Malleable steel
  • Fork - Steel c15

Installation

Components and Terminology:

  • Fork: Part of the clip that holds and secures the rope, with bolts attached to it.
  • Bridge: The structural part of the clip that connects the fork to the threads.
  • Threads: The screw-threaded section that secures the clip tightly onto the rope.

Instructions for Assembling the Rope:

  • Thimble: A metal reinforcement piece that protects the rope end and provides better durability against bending.
  • End of the line: The free end of the rope that passes through the clip and is attached to the load-bearing line.
  • Load-line: The part of the rope that is under tension and carries the actual load.

Correct Installation:

  • Clips should be installed in a specific order:
    • Tighten the clips in sequence, following the markings 1, 2, and 3.
    • T (Distance): Ensure the correct spacing between clips.
    • E (Spacing): Maintain appropriate spacing between the sections of the clip for a secure hold.

Incorrect Installation: Clips should not be installed in reverse order or too close together. Incorrect installation may cause the clip to slip, reducing the holding force, which can be dangerous.
